It's March. Pledge season for most US public TV stations, so since
Doctor Who is not a big fund-raising tool these days, most of the
stations that do still run it will shove it aside for pledge
specials. The only station that seems to be using Doctor Who to
raise money this time is Iowa Public TV, which will air the BBV
documentary "The Doctors" on March 13. Probably the situation will
change a bit when the new series makes it to the USA. If it winds up
anywhere except being syndicated to public TV stations, pledge
drives will not be a factor. Should the new series be offered to
public TV stations, it'd be new programming that they'd probably
showcase in such seasons, like in the 1980s. The TARDIS mug, the
TARDIS car sun shield, PBS program directors wearing hideously bad
Tom Baker scarves, movie format double features that ran all
afternoon - memories.
Still trying to verify the continued existence of the following low-power repeaters of Doctor Who affiliates. If anyone who works at the stations knows the current status, I'd appreciate the info:

W59AU 59 Utica, NY - repeater of WCNY 24 Syracuse, NY
K65BU 65 Gray's River, WA - repeater of KBTC 28 Tacoma, WA
K32EO 32 Colorado Springs, CO - repeater of KBDI 12 Denver, CO
The South African Sci-Fi Channel is airing SF: UK - Trips Through Time And Space Monday 8 March at 11:05AM. Matthew De Abaitua takes a look at 60s Doctor Who, the age of psychedelic sci-fi.
The US Sci-Fi Channel will repeat the 1996 Doctor Who TV Movie with
Paul McGann late Sunday April 11 (early Monday April 12) at 3AM EDT.
Mark your calendars.
